Yes it is easy. 1st set up your e-bay account. Then think about how you want to get paid ie money order/cashiers check, personal check or the best way paypal. If you choose paypal they protect you, and the buyer. Go sign up for a Paypal account at www.paypal.com. You must have a valid bank account number to do so. With paypal you will receive the payment directly to your paypal account from the buyers account, and will have the option to transfer those funds to your checking account. As an avid seller myself I suggest you use paypal as a fast payment method, and also for protection. Never ship anything without getting shipping confirmation because the person will say they never received it, and you will be screwed. This may sound like a lot, but it is well worth it trust me. Well, there are several ways to get your payments.
Most people these days use Paypal to receive their payments, and to pay for their items. It is the safest way that most people believe. You can also choose to receive a mailorder, where the buyer mails you the amount of money he owes you. and you can also receive cashiers check.
But I strongly recommend you to get Paypal, because if you are going to sell more things on ebay, or buy things off ebay later on, you will definitely need one.
Registering Paypal is not very hard under the help of Ebay.com and paypal.com.

you need to be a regsitered user of ebay and i would also recommend setting up a pay pal account. click on the sell button in ebay and it will take you through step by step i think you can also do tutorials on ebay about how to see etc

Yes, you absolutely need to register. The quickest and easiest way to accept payment is to accept Paypal payments (where you must also register). If you wait for people to mail you money orders and checks, you may wait forever. People are too busy for that nonsense.
