A few weeks ago, a local psychic reading gave me a tarot card reading which provided advanced knowledge of the future. She said I would be meeting a woman named Sarah by June of this year.
Well, today, while praying at the local college campus chapel, I prayed specifically about finding this woman and asking God's help to bring her forth to me.
As I sat there in prayer, a voice said to me,"Pray here for at least fifteen minutes, but do not leave until that time is up." So I prayed for several minutes. As time past, I grew more and more impatient, wanting to leave. I felt like this was all very foolish.
When I was about ready to just get up and leave, the voice again said,"Do not leave just yet. Please wait 2 more minutes." Again, I waited, estimating 2 minutes but definitely counting down quickly.
As I reached the signout sheet to leave, a woman walks in from campus crusade and signs it "Sarah Short." She gives me the oddest looks, and continues to as we pray.
What was this?

This is not bad, evil, or the work of Satan. Who were you addressing in prayer and in who's house?
Listen to your heart, not the mistaken fears of others. Your heart is good and where there is good, evil cannot reside. God works in mysterious ways! Ask and you shall receive!
You have the fortunate gift of hearing. Trust your angels to guide you through life just as they have guided you to this woman! Be grateful and keep asking questions of the divine.
.
God condemns no one. Religion, mankind, ignorance do.

First off, please do not go to a psychic or anything like that again. I could tell you that by the end of the year you'll meet a woman named Ashley. Now.. Psychic, or coincidence? Sarah is a very, very common name this day and age.. Don't let a psychic fool you..
Now, if you felt God speaking to you, then I take it you know what His voice sounds like. Maybe God wanted you to meet this person for a reason. But please don't take it as meaning the psychic knew what they were talking about..

The tarot said you would meet someone named Sarah by the end of the year? Approximately what percentage of the population do you figue happens to have that name? Odds are you can find at least one, if your looking.
The later stuff about pray and such. Yes it was a sign-God is playing with you-he has a wicked sense of humour.

I agree 100% with frankyglitz. This is bad bad bad.
God and psychics don't mix. Don't be fooled into thinking God told you this because I can say with absolute assurance He did not. Satan is the master deceiver and the father of lies and many times he attacks people by pretending he is God.
2 Corinthians 11:14 "And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light."
It's very possible that this Sarah girl might be a trap to lead you into further deception and darkness. Or...no offense, but maybe you're the trap to lead her into darkness.

God and psychic readings are complety not even remotely close to each other. God says to avoid such things. That voice in your head is probably a devil and if you keep on with your superstition you will close the door to your faith. Choice, not chance determines your destiny. I would run from Sarah. That's a bed deal there. Beware.

First of all, be warned that God condemns ALL psychics, mediums, witches, etc. We are to have nothing to do with them. They channel their information from evil beings. Sometimes they do foretell things, but their information is from the darkside. It is uncontrollable, inaccurate and dangerous. Sarah may have felt the demonic spirit or something off in you. I would repent and pray to God. Worship God in His image, not yours.
You mentioned Campus Crusade for Christ, go to a leader or Pastor. Speak to them about this. Don't be embarassed. I believe you experienced something real, but it isn't a good thing. You have an evil spirit circling you. Don't try to contact it. Rebuke it in the name of Jesus Christ. Seek out other Christians to pray with you.

God warns us thru His Word to stay away from the psychic realm. Some do get evil power from evil spirits. By entertaining this, you are invoking evil spirits in your life and your home, whether you believe it or not. Don't invite satan into your life by engaging in his tactics to win you over. It was not from God! Pray to the Lord for forgiveness and look to Him for direction and guidance. That's why He gave us His Word and The Holy Spirit. Seek God and make Him Master of Your Life.

Sarah is a very common name. The chances of you "not" meeting a sarah by june of this year would be extremely low. Im guessing she gave you odd looks because you probably gave her odd looks from obsessing over this.

Have faith in Jesus, not the tarot, do you not know anything about the deceiver? Of course the cards will tell you what you want to know if you believe in Jesus for the simple fact the deceiver would rather have you looking to the cards rather than the cross

There is no distance between one soul and another, only the apparitions of physical bodies appear to have different localities and times, and even this is not absolute distinction, as deemed by quantum physics.
It not being my experience I will not consider it deeply until such point as useful. If it causes confusion though, dwell on what is certainly good, and act on that, and not on unknown chances.
