(43560 sq ft/acre X 6 ft X 90 lb/ft^3)/2000 lb/ton = 11761.2 tons

How many square feet in an acre( use conversion charts) multiply by six(the depth of the seam), multiply by 90(pounds per cubic foot) and divide by 2,000(pounds in a ton).
That is how, now, you use some graphite.

multiply by 6 ft

multiply by density

convert to tons
