I keep asking myself this same question everyday. What will he do when they get to Bristol and he has a 20 - 80 point lead on the rest of the guys? If he TRUELY thinks he can win the Chase for the Nextel Cup in that #01 Bobby Ginn Motorsports ride.. then I say he owes it to himself, and the fans to run the entire season. Ofcourse, The blessings from his family would play a role to I suppose, But I dont think he'd be getting any arguments from that dept. I really don't know if BGR has what it takes to produce a CHAMPIONSHIP conteding team/car. The Hendrick horsepower helps, and a ALL VETERAN team of Martin, Marlin, and Nemechek definately helps! I hope he runs the entire thing, and gets the best chance possible @ winning the CUP.. But I really think he won't run the entire season. I hope i'm wrong.. We will all see come Race #5 @ Bristol..

I hope he decides to race the full schedule because i am a huge fan of his and i would hate to see him leave Nascar without any run at the Title in his final year. I believe he will stick to his plan unless he is in the lead after a few more races. Right now he only has a five point lead after two races. I think he has a fast car this season and making the decision to leave roush racing was the best decision he could make because he didn't have as quick of a car.

He needs to stick to his plan of a partial schedule, and he needs to retire. He just makes himself look like a fool, repeatedly saying he is going to do something and then not. Plus, I don't think Jack Roush would be happy with him if he ran the full schedule for the competition. He is running for another team because Jack Roush could not field a part time car for him (due to the 4 car rule policy). So, it will be like stabbing Jack in the back if he runs full time. He could have stayed in the 6 for another year, giving Jack time to groom his replacement better.

Mark's first scheduled off race is the Bristol race. I don't think he will make a final decision until after the Atlanta race the week before. If he runs good at Las Vegas and Atlanta then look for him to be at Bristol.
Mark has a private jet. Check it out at www.JetJit.com

I think if he's in the thick of the race and near the top in the points, I think he should run the full schedule. Because it had been said that if he decides to run the full schedule. Gin racing has a car that he can run, or they can put the guy who is supposed to fill the rest of the schedule in another car.

Don't know, I'm a Mark Martin fan and I would naturally like to see him run the entire season. This just proves my thought that he was getting 2nd best care while at Roush racing. It's nice to see him doing well though and I DO hope he goes for it. However, lets all remember that it's 2 races down and how many more to go? It's a long long long season.

He keeps saying that he is through chasing the cup but, it sure is going to be weird if he is still leading the points after Atlanta, to not see him go for it!
I would sure like to see him race full time and win the championship this year but, I don't think it's going to happen.

If he's still in the top 3 by Bristol (the first race he said he's not going to be in) then he better shut up about not ever winning a Cup. He'd be an idiot to not keep going if he's running that well.
