In the book of Genesis it says that God made modern animals AFTER THEIR KIND. Could this mean that God used the blueprints (DNA structure) of prehistoric animals in creating similar modern animals? Interestingly enough, this does not rule out evolution before this point.

What does made AFTER THEIR KIND mean to you? How can things be made after their kind unless similar things existed before?

Christians do study and ask God for wisdom while reading the Old Testament. It is very important to us.

When God made the animals, Genesis 1:24--25, He said, "Let the land produce living creatures according to their kinds: live stock, creatures that move along the ground, and wild animals, each according to it's kind." And it was so. God made the wild animals according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.

He placed each of the creatures in their own group. If you will read on further in verse 27, God created man in his own image. Man did not evolve from animals.

The Bible is God's written Word to us.
It was written by human authors, under the supernatural guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Above all you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. 2 Peter 1:20-21. (New International Version)

Genesis also states that at the time of Adam and Eve, all animals were herbivores. People didn't eat meat until the time of Noah. God's inspired word was to people who didn't understand the term "DNA structure." Of course, understanding the term hasn't made modern man much smarter.

What does "time moves differently for God than for man" mean to you? Quantum Physics in the Bible?

Creation blueprints not needed. After their kind = of which pertain to their likeness. Coexisting animals that are alike, in the same family. Mammals, reptiles, etc.

So when God made the cat family for example, there were tigers, lions, jaguars, cheetahs, house cats, pumas, etc. you get the idea.

"The Bible, The Qur'an and Science"

by Dr. Maurice Bucaille

Translated from French and i just copy it from its backcover

"Back Cover"

In his objective study of the texts, Maurice Bucaille clears' away many preconceived ideas about the Old Testament, the Gospels and the Qur'an. He tries, in this collection of Writings, to separate what belongs to Revelation from what is the product of error or human interpretation. His study sheds new light on the Holy Scriptures. At the end of a gripping account, he places the Believer before a point of cardinal importance: the continuity of a Revelation emanating from the same God, with modes of expression that differ in the course of time. It leads us to meditate upon those factors which, in our day, should spiritually unite rather than divide-Jews, Christians and Muslims.

As a surgeon, Maurice Bucaille has often been in a situation where he was able to examine not only people's bodies, but their souls. This is how he was struck by the existence of Muslim piety and by aspects of Islam which remain unknown to the vast majority of non-Muslims. In his search for explanations which are otherwise difficult to obtain, he learnt Arabic and studied the Qur'an. In it, he was surprised to find statements on natural phenomena whose meaning can only be understood through modern scientific knowledge.

He then turned to the question of the authenticity of the writings that constitute the Holy Scriptures of the monotheistic religions. Finally, in the case of the Bible, he proceeded to a confrontation between these writings and scientific data.

The results of his research into the Judeo-Christian Revelation and the Qur'an are set out in this book

That is nonsense there is no way people of the time could have knew whether things existed before. Do you think the dinosaurs just died off leaving the world without any animals for several million years then God suddenly appeared and created them. That is more ridiculous than their own stupid belief.

that's doubtlessly very risky. that's straightforward to think of a scenario the place somebody has progressed a genetically changed bacterium which will gobble up waste, or perhaps though. they are going to be concerned to reassure even though regulatory agency (which in practice potential the politicians) that that's fullyyt risk-free. With huge greenbacks looming the managers of the mentioned company would possibly not desire to hearken to the mutterings of any of their scientists that it would not be fullyyt risk-free; particularly they'll desire to get their ask your self product on the industry. the government, not wanting to be theory technologically backward (and besides, what approximately all the taxes they are in a position to rake in) would be in basic terms as nerve-racking to have faith their assurances that each and every thing is fullyyt risk-free. and then...... wager what.

hold up... where did the "modern animals" part come from? God made "animals" after there own kind... that means there were no animals before God made them... hence ruling out evolution

"after their kind" is referring to the law of biogenesis in case you didn't know, it doesn't matter what it "means" to me. "How can things be made after their kind unless similar things existed before?" they are created.

You have misunderstood what you have read if it is true that you have it read. You just add the word "modern animals". the words "after their kind" means any kind of different animals. If it is a dog, dog. cow is for cow, zebra is for zebra. Hope you understand it

Meaning is determined by the author. The author of Genesis 1 knew nothing of DNA. Therefore, you're out of gas.
