It's actually a great scientific question that evolutionist can not answer. The probability of it happening by chance is so enormous that it's impossible to take a designer out of the equation. But yes, a non chicken egg did come first before the chicken. But if you are asking about a chicken egg, then it is more probably that the chicken came first.

I am going to say that the egg came first because dinosaurs laid eggs. But if you don't believe evolution, they came at the same time if God created chickens, at birth chickens are like human females, they are born with all the eggs their bodies are going to produce in a lifetime, unlike males sperm that is produced on a regular basis.
The choice is up to you by which theory you believe.

the chicken came first. in the bible it states that God made the animals. therefore the chicken came first. the egg could not have came first because the egg has to have a chicken to keep it warm and rotate it in order for the embryo inside to grow into a chick and hatch.
