A tip if the erythomycin is too drying: leave it on for about an hour, remove it and then moisturize. Your skin will still have absorbed & used the medicine by this time. Give this a try and see it it cuts down on the dryness. I used it for a long time and finally landed on this trick and it made a huge difference in my skin.

I have that also, and I let it soak in for a couple minutes, then apply moisturizer. but i make sure it isn't anything that has a perfume smell to it, that may irritate my skin. Suave isn't that great either. It seems watery and slimy. I have Jergens or dove. Dove's great for sensitive skin. My dermatologist said that Almay is good also.

What is the most important information I should know about erythromycin?

Some medicines can cause unwanted or dangerous effects when used with erythromycin. Your doctor may need to change your treatment plan if you use cisapride, pimozide, ergotamine, or dihydroergotamine.
