I tried for six months to get a VA loan and found out that you need a 620 score and a large service charge. I found it was cheaper to get loan from conventional mortgage company. Know what you are doing and do not get a loan that is not a permanent interest rate. Shop around. Put your needs on the internet and you will get many inquiries.
