Both my mother and father are racially mixed. Because of this, I feel bound to stay within one of the 'races' so I don't further complicate things in the family? (Imagine a family reunion with 4 different languages being spoken).

Listen, life is too short to be worrying about what other people would think of the person you choose to date. Love whoever you want, regardless of their race. Obviously, race doesn't matter to your parents. Perhaps, you should think about why you feel that it might complicate things . But really, love comes in all shapes, shades, and sizes. Don't ever limit yourself.

It shouldnt be about race at all, it should be about the relationship in general. Dont rule someone out just because they dont immediatly fit into your ideal catagories. But if you do want race to hold sway in your life, your open to pretty much anything. 4 lango's=4 races. So anyone in those 4 races would fit.

haha amigo, its the 21 century, u are not bound by race, if u find someone who gives a damn if ur of a different race, u care and love them, thats all that matteres, and ur family will understand that, even if they cant understand a word of the other, love knows no language, colour, or religion.

What???? Go after whatever you want. What are you're parents going to say? "We think you should stick with a certain race?" How can they say that when they didn't?
Don't let color confuse how you feel. Plus, race doesn't always determine language.
