ok theres this guy. basically we had a love affiar and he let me go so he could be with someone else. he is with her now. now i find out he is SAYING he been thinking about me this whole time and his new wife is HORRIBLE to him. He asked if he can come over. i thought about it and said you know its not a good idea since he is married. He has not responsded. its been 3 days of no response through chatting. Should i kick any chance of a freindship to the curb? I would liek to just be freinds with the person, so pls no lectures about dating a married man. I just wonder what u think this guy is trying to pull? thanks

I think he's being the jerk by not chatting back with you. You're trying to be his friend and it sounds like he may just be wanting to sleep with you. I don't know but maybe he sees that being with his wife isn't as great as he thought it was going to be before he dumped you for her...or whatever he did...so I think you should be careful if he were to come over because you have to consider if you're vulnerable to him as well.

Singlechick,
Tell him that he has "made his bed" now he has to lay in it!

He had his chance but went for someone else! That would make you "second best". So, a friendship with him? He doesn't deserve that! He's looking for a "side dish", OR, he realizes he married the "wrong" one and is looking to you for sympathy bcuz it's convenient that you already know wach other, like the "comfort zone".

You don't NEED him as a Friend! Find a new friend!

there are some cases if the guy really likes you then you can't be friends. I would say this is definately one. Most likely he just wants some free booty out of the deal, in any regard he is a horrible person and you should simply cut off everything with him. Do you really want to be friends with a man that only wants to cheat on his wife with you?

Is it possible for the two of you to be just friends?Do you have any sort of feeling left for this guy?If there are then you might want to wait a little while longer before you start talking again. To be on the safe side.

Also something to think about....

You mentioned that his new wife is HORRIBLE to him?If you do decide to talk to him again make sure he isn't just looking for comfort from someone he secure with.I would hate to see this guy take advantage of you.Good luck.

It's not a good idea. He's having a problem with his wife. Now he wants to see you. Although you just want to be friends with him, by nature things can happen right in front of your naked eyes and you don't even realize it, especially that you have been with him before. Just don't look for a close friendship with him.

Sounds like he wants a wife and a GF and by you just wanting to be friends that's not enough for him. He's probably looking elsewhere for someone to "play" with. Be glad he's stopped communication.

he asked if you could come over. you didn't think you should. he invited, you turned it down. any way you can call him and say you've changed your mind. but go over and do what? you can't have an affair now...hmmm.
