Well, if you really like the girl, just wait until she grows up a little bit because as you grow older (for the girl at least) age doesn't matter that much anymore. If she's on her own, ok, go out. But if she's with her parents ... you better think twice ... because that means parents will definitely have a say. I used to think "ew" if there's like an 11-year gap (my parents have 11 years gap BTW), because I was thinking, hey if my dad was 18 years old, my mom was 7!!!! But if you say the girl is 28 and the guy is like 39, wouldn't sound so bad anymore, would it?

I think that as long as you are both about the same maturity level and you are both interested in each other, go with the law. Since dating can end up in sex, I'd stick with 18+, to keep yourself safe. Other than that, age really doesn't matter that much. Two of my friends have been married for 17 years, and tehy have about 20 years difference in age (woman the older one).

when you are 18 u are legally of age and are an adult. some would say there is too much of a gap in the ages but i say that its not too bad. but the 29 yr old will be an old man/woman soon.
