this girl always flirts with me at work and she always says yes to dates and gives me her number and stuff. she is reserved and doesnt talk to many people and she always wants me to call her. i tried calling her a bunch of times the day we were supposed to go out but she is never there. noone answers the phone and if someone does it is a parent saying she is either asleep or out doing something with her family. she smokes alot and hangs out with bad crowds :/ why does she never pick up the phone or go out?

It sounds like she may be leading you on, and having her family cover for her whenever you call. It may be hard, but don't waste your time on a girl like this. Someone who treats you like this is not worth your time. There's someone out there for you that will treat you better.

She could be afraid to tell you "no" when you ask for her number and ask her out in person, since you say she is quiet and reserved, yet you say she is flirting with you. What she doesn't do is as much a clue for you as much as what she has done. She's telling you she doesn't want to go out by avoiding your calls. Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but that seems to be what's going on there. I have 5 daughters, so I am pretty sure that's what's going on. Sorry about that, hon. Why do you mention she smokes a lot and hangs with bad crowds? Does that turn you on?

Well First I think the fact that she smokes is irrelevant. LOL Actually, I just think it's a turn-off for you. It seems kind of strange that you say she doesn't talk to many people and is reserved but yet she hangs out with the bad crowd...what is she like Jekyll and Hyde or something? Maybe she does want to go out with you but it seems like if she did she'd be home when you're supposed to go out. If i were you, I'd tell her that you tried to call and that she's not never there when you do. I'd confront her with it. Good luck :)

Sounds like some females I have encountered ... they like to flirt to get you to be a friend, a guy behind them ... but they do that to ALL men! No one is special to them.
Later they can ask you for a ride, for money, etc. because they have flirted with you.

Maybe she only wants you chasing her. Girls do that, but if she is taking it to the extreme of ignoring you all together then you have to think if shes really worth it.
