I have to agree, it is trite. The rhymes are cliched. If you want the second line to keep the rhyme, "I've" must be changed to "I". Also, Separate the lines you've combined for the poem to be visually appealing. I understand that you have feelings you wish to convey and they may seem irreplaceable for your message, but I implore you to consider different words, to be original. As for how I feel, know one can give me irrefutable evidence of his benevolence. For the record, if the Bible is indeed his word, then that is also a bit one-sided in his intentions. Forgive my cynicism, but it would be as if I made a pamphlet detailing my accounts of the history of the world. Even if he is omniscient, omnipotent, omnific, and omnipresent, it does not mean he is a good being.

Thats beautiful, this is exactly how I feel. I know he forgives, but just how much does he tolerate. But this poem demonstrates that he's nothing but Love and he will always love me anyway, regardless of the mistakes i've done.
