Its natural, next time knock for Gods sakes. Everyone deserves privacy. That was your mistake and your fault. If masturbating was going to cause blindness there would be an overload of white caned people with guide dogs everywhere you look. Relax its normal.

He's completely normal. Just don't make an issue out of it.

Next time, knock on the door, wait for a response, then enter (provided no one answer's back).

He's growing into a young man and needs his privacy.

Apologize to your son for walking in on him in the bathroom and then teach him how to lock a door. At least he was thoughtful enough to do it in a room that's easy to clean up.

No, it hasn't happened to me because my son is only 1 year old, but I'm sure masturbation in 13-year-old boys is not - in itself - a cause for alarm.

That's a tactless question, like if you didn't know already.
and try not to make him feel like he's sinner for doing what comes naturally, OK!

ask another brilliant question...like what kinda of books or if his dad should talk to him about the birds and the bees.
Or, even about pregnancy.

If you are embarrassed about he seeing you peeping him, he knows probably your male companion does the same. so with that in mind, be civil.

I believe it is normal and you should make a big deal out of it or punish him. When he goes into the bathroom now give him his privacy.
