There's the new Snapple drink of "All Natural Green Tea with 55mg of EGCG" to boost your metabolism. I think all green tea did that before anyways but I just am wondering what would happen if one drank a bottle a day? What about a large amount like 4 bottles a day? Would it affect your health for the better or worse? Would you lose too much weight? Basically, what would happen?

ALL tea--green or not--has a ingredient (tannins, I believe) that block 65% of your iron absorption. Because of this, you shouldn't drink tea 2hrs before or after an iron-rich meal. This is especially important if you are a woman because during your period you lose enough iron when you bleed. So this, coupled with the tea can make you feel a bit tired or anemic.

Tea's not gunna make you lose a large amount of weight on it's own. It will HELP you lose weight IN ADDITION TO A HEALTHY DIET AND EXERCISE. You can drink a gallon of tea a day and isn't not gunna make you lose weight. It can help (maybe an extra 1/4 lb a week at most) if you already are exercising and eating healthy.

Every tea does increase metabolism process due to caffine and other ingredients. It decreases your natural resistance against cold.
