Blood in stool can be indicative of many things. You should not wait if you are bleeding "every time you go" You should be seen by a health professional immediately, only then will you have a proper diagnosis. There are way too many things that bleeding can indicate and warn of, and all of those conditions need assessment/ treatment by a medical professional. Do not wait. If bleeding is of great amount, or frequent seek medical help now.

Yes it is not normal for blood to be in your stool. You could have an upper digestive bleeding, from al ulcer for example or you could have hemorroids that rupture and bleed every time you go to the bathroom. Are you normally constipated? Visit a doctor as soon as you can....

Sometimes I get that too. That might be a sign that you're not eating enough fiber in your diet. Eat more green vegetables, fruit, flax or buy fiber tablets for you to take daily. Bright red blood is normal. But if it is dark it could mean something else....If it very often as you say, the best bet is go see your doctor.

This is what is known as Melena. Melena is where the gastrointestinal tract is bleeding, that is if the stool has fresh blood in it. If the blood is black and tarry, this is when the stomach is bleeding. You should see your doctor imeditately.

Bright red could be a bleeding hemorrhoid or a tear of the anus. Dark red could be more serious like a bleeding ulcer or colon cancer. In any case, see a doctor tomorrow!!
