My uncle and aunt have a one year old son and asked me to be the godmother but i am only fifteen. is there an age requirement to be a godmother in the christian religion?

I guess it depends on the denomination. The Catholic Church requires you to be 16yo and confirmed. Don't worry, I would assume that your aunt and uncle checked it out with their church before asking you.

There isn't an age requirement. I know that the catholic church requires one of the godparents of a child to be a practicing Catholic. I think it would be better for someone to be 18 or older to be a godparent if they really know what it means. But if it's just a title that the parents are giving to someone then I guess age doesn't matter.

normally old enough to be a confirmed catholic. you need to be able to instruct the kid in the religion if something happens to the parents. traditionally, it means you are that kid's fam is something happens to the parents.

i have seen ten year old mothers made by klfk boys (kis lik fek kick) in christians countries.
