my phone has very less memory so how can i compress songs like from 7mb 2 1 mb

yes i believe you can compress song flle to your mobile phone with an audio software that have to do with mp3 or a smaller format but sound wil not be as good as the mp3 quality. i suggest you log to www.download.com and type in compress audio file and se what you cancome up a solucation. bottom line softare may be not free but free to try until trial experiens. good luck.

you could try converting them to wma files. Windows has a converter, i think.
Also you might need to use an editing software (like audacity i think is one) and shorten the file. (or you can just convert it to a wav and then shorten it in sound recorder)
