do you want to know why others believe in God and you don't?
- Other have been indoctrinated; I have not.
.... the reason behind this is when God showed u the truth you rejected him
- I have seen no evidence of a god, let alone it being true.
- I haven't rejected. I've been atheist since I was born. Again, I've never been indoctrinated.
and when you rejected the truth God blocked ur eyes, heart and ears from the truth.
- If there is EVER any evidence that there's a god, I'll consider believing in a god. Until then, I'll stay in the logical position.
you are the only one who can save urself,
- From what?
i know u don't see this wall infront of ur eyes,
- How do you know there is a wall?
break the wall..
- WHAT wall and why? What good will come of it for me? I am happy as is.
i really care for you...
- I doubt it. You won't give atheists a chance to tell THEIR side. You're just repeating what you've been told.
just listen to me,
- Not until you listen to me.
i know what you don't know...
- And that is...?
just break the wall that blocking you from God,
- I don't believe in a god. I won't until there is evidence.
don't believe everything u see,
- I don't. I believe in science and reason.
it's a trick or illusion,
- What's the evidence for this claim?

First: the word is "atheist," having been derived from the Greek "theos."
Second: I would like to point out that you, like many others, have used the singular form of the noun, rather than the plural. Since this happens more often than chance would dictate, it suggests a rather strange mindset that regards atheists as having one monolithic mind. This often happens when people confront belief systems that baffle them.
Third: Having studied the phenomenon of belief in several fields, I understand why others believe in God and why I don't.
I will confess that I am not, myself an atheist, but an agnostic. I believe that there is some spiritual component to human life. I suspect that what I believe is closer to the Jungian than would fit into any "religion."
I suspect that religions, in an attempt to define the indefinable, end up limiting the illimitable. "God," if we must use that term, is entirely too big to be contained by a religion.

That the actuality atheists have self assurance in something isn't info of god. If something it is info of human nature that's a fabricated from evolution - no longer god. the the remainder of your blather is in simple terms belongings you're making up. you haven't any longer any info any god positioned any void in men's hearts. you haven't any longer any info god died for absolutely everyone exterior of a team of old memories that could truthfully have been manipulated for power, funds, or truthful yet incorrect concerns approximately an afterlife. And sure, that many could desire to die for a lie. Jesus did no longer split mankind's historic past. different men, who have self assurance in the parable, and have been on the main stunning place and precise time to make this sort of distinction did. the indisputable fact that historic past is split by utilising the beginning of Jesus says plenty with regard to the flexibility of the Catholic Church 500 years after Jesus' dying, yet no longer something with regard to the guy himself.

The reason why we don't believe in God, and you do, is because we require facts and evidence to support such notions, whereas you will believe any old thing people tell you just because it's in some musty old holy book.
All I want are some FACTS. I have heard all the preaching and sermons and ridiculous religious rhetoric that I can stand, your wishes and hopes and assumptions and empty prayers to nothing. Now I want FACTS to support your notions. Not verses from the Quran or Bible, not appeals to faith and blind belief, but FACTS that can be supported by the scientific method. Can you do that? Just this once? Pretty please?

Wow...and people wonder why Atheist bash Christians & Muslims on here left & right. Leave people alone. You're one little question on Y! A isn't going to convert anyone. If someone doesn't want to see through some invisible wall, who cares? It's not your life. Let it go and let people believe what they want. There's this little thing called free will. Get used to it. People use it however they like.
If you want to convert people, start your own blog. In the meantime, ask a REAL question. You're just preaching to people that don't want to hear it.

I've read that verse int he Quran. I suppose its refreshing to see this sort of post from muslim rather than christian. Beliefs of both groups quite simular in many ways which is not a coincidence.
I think some radical muslim make it harder for me to believe because the make others believe by force. Don't quite understand how that works with respect to the verse, there's no compulsion in religion.
Moderate muslims are ok by me. I admit i believe in God. Its not I did not seek but I have not found.
Hey, mabye you believe simply because you were born in muslim world. If you are honest, you have to concede that point.
Some ancester of yours either freely chose or was co-eerced into Islam. (Co-ersion meaning either society made it really difficult for them to for example stay Christian/Pagan/Hindu or somebody threatened their life.)

Let us assume for one moment that there is a God and that he made us all as we are. So, he made you a believer and me a non-believer. We are both a product of God's will.
Now, if I try to persuade you that there is no God, you will say that I am working against God and God's will. I would agree with that. By the same token, you must realize that if you try to persuade me that God does exist, you are working against God's will to change one of his creations. You need to be very careful, God may very well have a purpose for my existence and non-belief that even someone as enlightened as yourself cannot see. To attempt to change one of his creations may well be such a gross sin that your immortal soul would suffer for all eternity.
My advice to you is to stay away from windows during thunder storms.

I have not been shown any truth. I've been shown contradictions, guilt, and lies. I am still seeking the truth and I will know it when I find it.
How, as a christian, can you tell me (an atheist) what I am thinking? You don't know me. You know nothing about me. You have no clue why I do not believe. SO, please do not presume to tell me why I do not believe.
Save your self righteous lectures. I've heard them all, and if they can't change my mind, then your ignorant soapbox speech certainly won't either.

Did you forget that Allah calls whom He wills, and that some people were made as a test for believers, some were made as fuel for the fire?
The two ayats you quoted explain exactly why there will always be atheists, and dawah won't change that. My advice is let them alone unless they ask you, and that will only happen if Allah calls them to Islam.

No, because we know the reason: They've either been indoctrinated from an early age, or they were preyed upon during a time of crisis.
We don't care what your holy book says - it means nothing to non-muslims. Quoting from it is meaningless.
