It sounds like it could be eczema. I have a couple of patches on my legs.

No matter which part of the skin is affected, eczema is almost always itchy. Sometimes the itching will start before the rash appears, but when it does the rash most commonly occurs on the face, knees, hands or feet. It may also affect other areas as well.

Affected areas usually appear very dry, thickened or scaly. In fair-skinned people, these areas may initially appear reddish and then turn brown. Among darker-skinned people, eczema can affect pigmentation, making the affected area lighter or darker.

If it sounds like it could be eczema, over the counter hydrocortisone can help the itching. Get a doctors appointment and they'll be able to tell you if it is for sure eczema and then they'll be able to give you a prescription ointment.

Good luck!!

OK, I assume you want to know what to put on it. Noni cream or Lotion. The stuff is made from the Noni plant and you probably will have to get on the net to order some, but it is amazing stuff and perfect for an allergic reaction, psoriasis, and all kinds of skin problems. it comes from Hawaii. here is the web site. I swear by this stuff as do everyone I have told about it who have tried it.

Keep on moisturizing it with a face moisturizer, and maybe use an exfoliating scrub to help the dead skin cells come off. Sounds weird, but sometimes I use the oil you can get from a hair remover kit. It really helps moisturize the skin.

had same problem, went to doctor and she told me to go to the pharmacy and ask for ketoconazole,it is actually a shampoo that can also be used for the skin, ask for 1% because anything above that requires a perscription,i noticed a huge difference in about 3 days,it clears up the redness, dry skin, and cures the itching,i now swear by it for my hair and my face.good luck

Use Aveeno lotion it is the best moisturizing lotion I have ever used also doctors recommend it. If your skin is getting worse and nothing has worked you should probably go to the doctor if you can.
