To all who have answered this whole pot question, I HAVE tried everything, the duragesic codones, contins, pain clinics, relaxation, music, hot bath, nerve pills, anti-depressants, I am on over 20 medications now. Funny thing if you could see me you would never know, unless you really look that I am suffering so much. Oh and I pray and I pray.Lord, make it go away...and let someone else be like me............

I was never being hard on my parents. If it was for them I wouldn't be alive today. They made the right choices for me when I was a child. They are the ones that said no to prednisone when I was a kid and it allowed me to grow to 5'7" I want to ease their fears because I love them.

I would never ever even if I could be cured, wish my pain on anyone. I don't need to go to rehab either. I'm not a drug addict. I've had severe arthritis since I was a baby.Every joint is affected. There's not one minute or one milisecond that I'm not imn pain and that's the truth. It is constant severe pain all over my body but you think I need to go to re-hab??

Nothing else works for me
I use a chiropractor and massage therapist with the info below
Much pain is from muscles below is an example of what may help (based on headaches).
Begin with a couple swigs of molasses or a couple of bananas daily - magnesium (which regulates many things in the body) and potassium (a needed building block for muscles).
Drink at least 1/2 gallons of water per day. Running a body low on water is like running a car low on oil is the analogy the head of neurology at UCDavis told my husband about 10 years ago.

Now to the cause - muscles - your back, neck shoulders and head have tender spots. They are knots in the fibers of the muscles called trigger points. It makes the muscles tight which makes them press on nerves and other things causing the pain.

The cure - start with a professional massage, you will also want to go back over any place you can get to 6-12 times per session up to 6 times per day rubbing (or lightly scratching on your head) every where that is tender until the knots go away. The place where the skull connects to the spine press up under the edge of the skull (to get to those muscles).

For more information read The Trigger Point Therapy Workbook by Davies. It teaches what to do and where the pain comes from.

Find a different doctor. We have to use a combo of drugs to treat our various problems. With pain medications, some doctors are not comfortable in prescribing the needed dose. I find it hard to believe that none of the many medications out there help. I would find a doctor who's not afraid and is willing to work with you. My pain is under control for the most part but I still need break thru medication. There are some great medications available and they do/can work if tried properly.
Good luck to you and I hope you find relief *soon*!

Most probably there is a vitamin deficiency. Try the simple B Complex for a week. Maybe the body lacks nutrition and letting you know thru pains in various parts of the body. after that try yoga and eat a balanced diet. and if you are a O blood group, stop taking milk or milk products.

honestly.. the best thing to do is go to a well educated doctor about the specifics. if they can't solve what's going on, have them refer you to a specialist who can. over the counters don't work for serious pain. I'm not really sure what kind of pain you're having so I don't know who to refer you to. But, don't take matters into your own hands. Let a liscensed professional help you. I hope the best for you and I hope your illness/problems get taken care of to your satisfaction. no one deserves to live in pain.

try nurofen plus from their website www.nurofenplus.com it's got 12.8mg codeine & 200mg of ibuprofen. It's really cheap to buy and I haven't had an issue with it. They also have a really good shipping guarantee where they will guarantee that they get it through customs.

Why would you wish your pain on someone else? Instead of Why me? maybe you should ask Why not me? I am truly sorry for your pain, have you tried accupuncture? have you tried meditation? Yoga? Good luck. If pot works why not?
