Alright, to let you know right off the bat, I am an agnostic. However, I am curious as to how you would resolve this contradiction. So, your born again, saved or whatever and now your dead. You go to heaven where all your desires come true. Now, lets assume for a moment that one of your parents died when you were in your teens and you loved him/her very much. Unknown to you they were not saved, born again or whatever. We can say the dead parent was a good person, or we can say the dead parent was a bad person. Either way, wouldn't it be a punishment to you to not see this person you so loved in the afterlife? Would God be showing his love by denying you those you cherished on earth and spent the remainder of your life in anticipation of seeing after your own death? Just curious.

Heaven and Hell are places on Earth.

Heaven = The Virgin Islands.

Hell = Somalia.

Not everyone goes to heaven.
Only 144,000 out of all those who have EVER lived will do so. Rev. 14;1]
And there they will be Kings and Priests WITH Jesus and be involved in the judging.
They are called...the Holy Ones.
They will hold a position ABOVE angels.
(Revelation 14:4) These are the ones that did not defile themselves with women; in fact, they are virgins. These are the ones that keep following the Lamb no matter where he goes. These were bought from among mankind as firstfruits to God and to the Lamb,

(Revelation 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.

(1 Corinthians 6:2-3) Or do YOU not know that the holy ones will judge the world? And if the world is to be judged by YOU, are YOU unfit to try very trivial matters? 3 Do YOU not know that we shall judge angels? Why, then, not matters of this life?

So what about the rest of us?
We just remain 'asleep' in death until we are resurrected. Rev. 20; 12,13.
And if we are judged righteous enough, will have a future back on earth. Psalms 37; 9,11,29,34
Without sickness or death...Rev. 21;4
All in all, a nice future.

I believe that Heaven is about enjoying the moment, not looking into the past. You'd be satisfied with everything that you have, and not feel empty for the things that are missing. Of course, I don't really know, because I've never been to Heaven ... and even though I am a Christian, my views on the afterlife are a little shakey.

What you need to understand is that the Bible does not teach that heaven is the reward for everyone who is good.
Eccl.9:5 tells us that:"For the living are conscious that they will die but as for the dead they are conscious of nothing at all..."
Heaven is the home of Jehovah God and his spirit sons
Earth was created for humans to reside on.
When we die we go back to the ground from which we came.In God's due time all those asleep in death will be resurrected.And those obedient and willing to serve Jehovah will enjoy everlasting life on a cleansed earth.(Ps.37:9-11,29;Pr.2:21)

I think the theory goes something like this: If all your life you've lived in candlelight once you've gone out into the sun, you won't miss the candles.

The light of the presence of the supreme being washes away all longing for the lesser lights we've known in our lives, since all we've known of love is a dim showing through of divine love.

Rather metaphorical, I know, but then, isn't everything?

The answer to your queston is in this scripture: Revelation 21:4 < God wipes away all tears from our eyes. The meaning of this verse is that God will supernaturally erase every memory from our mind that does not absolutely glorify Him. This is one of the greatest blessings of heaven. BTW, needless to say, this will not be the case for one so foolish as to have rejected God's salvation.

if you are agnostic than ask your mother how you came to this earth? ask her if she created you or she was helpless being that was just transmitter between God you and this earth? ask her , ask her who created you in her body ?
once you fall in sleep ask yourself what do you do when you dream?
you see, touch, feel etc , right but you didnt move nor were you aware of what was happening? so just wait till you "" die"" to find out where you had been in reality . Than; father, mother and all others will be just part of your test and nothing will be as it is. peace be upon you

We will all see that all of God's judgements are just and true when we enter into our afterlife.
