Outlook works fine when connected by hard wire to the server - the problem only occurs when connected via wireless. However, there is total Internet functionality when connected via wireless - only this Outlook quirk. I have tried two different wireless cards and multiple woreless networks. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thank you.

The wireless is at home, in an airpot, in a hotel, etc. I am trying to connect to an office e-mail account.

Wireless at home or wireless at work?

Ok, do you have the HTTP proxy settings in place? Tools > Email Accounts > View/Change (next) > Change > More Settings > Connection tab > enable Outlook over the internet and click the button for exchange proxy settings. The settings are based on your exchange settings.

You should change your Yahoo profile to allow me to send you a message.

Your wireless router might have some type of firewall set up that blocks the connection to your server. You might have to reconfigure your router settings to allow the connection. Try to look for your router's tech support number and they'll walk you through it. Or if you think you can do it yourself type in 192.168.1.1. in the address bar of internet explorer and leave the user name blank and type in admin for the password. That will give you the router's settings page. From there you're on your own.
