i plan on saying this to a girl i never talked to before and was wondering if i go up to her and tell her this would you think she would give me a chance.....i am shy and un-smooth at time but will do my best........would you say i should say this or not...if not what should i say?

personally it'll sound kinda creepy but if u had said "excuse me, i know i dont know u but i've seen u around and just thought i'd introduce myself. i'm....." then prolong the conversation and dont be clingy on the first conversation either. talk only for a short while and then gradually increase the length of the conversation when u meet her again. things should flow very nicely if she's a friendly person.

I think the first part "excuse me, I know I don't know you, but I've seen you around here" is ok, but the "I was wondering if I could get to know you" I wouldn't use. I would think of something else to say. First maybe see how she responds to the part about seeing her around there. Then take it from there. I think girls like to be approached by guys and she should be responsive. You never know until you try.

I would just try talking to her without asking her to get to know her better...To me, sounds kinda creepy....
