Yes it is. Several friends of mine worked as an aid in nursing homes. When someone died it was their job to clean the body up, before it went to the morgue and the bowels always release. Whatever is up there WILL run out!

Yes it is, your body loses all muscle control when you die .since your bowels are muscle controlled , it stands to reason that they will release.

I think I remember something about this. We have a sphincter muscle that controls our bowel movements and when we are dead that relaxes. So, yes, it sounds logical.

YES, that's because all the internal organs and the muscles in your body stop contracting and your anal sphincter no longer constricts, so what happen is that all the fluids (even the semi-fluids like ear wax, stool, mucus in the nose tears and saliva) comes out from your anus, ears, eyes, mouth and nose. :)

i think so. it's a muscle that you subcutaneously have control of so when you sleep you don't have an accident, but when you die you no longer have control over it.
