well think about it, he doesn't need to read the human mind, it does not matter with him, his job is to make you do sins by whispering them into your mind ie the good person he will try to make him bad, then he goes to a bad person and tries to make him worse, the things god forbid are set and known, these are the things satan injects each of the people's mind to make them do it so what is important is not knowing if he reads or does not read, what matters is knowing how to make you read his evil mind by not doing the things which will destroy your relationship with god

I,ll go along with Mr. Ed. Chris Angle is a good example of Mr Ed's explanation. The skin also gives away many things about what a person might be thinking.
There is a larger issue here: what can the devil do to influence us today? Although, there was a time his influence was all -powerful, I believe -today -he has very little to none. Christ after gaining all power in heaven and Earth has striped away the devils authority, he has been deposed and no longer has the same abilities he had before.
I often use this analogy: My brother lost his leg in a train accident, and for the longest time he would wake up and realize all over again that his leg was gone. It took a long time for him to" accept" the fact that his leg is gone. The point is this... the devil had free reign for so long that we still believe he can do what he did before. We still want to blame our free will -bad choices- on the devil.
I know; so why so much evil still in the world? For one: the effects of the devils machinations are still with us and two: we are still a progressive creature that must learn to control ourselves. We are still growing; from an immature child to a mature one. Progress is slow, and our progress towards being more"God-like " has been interrupted.
Keep the faith!
Peace.....

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.
The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.
Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.
Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.
Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Sometimes we "read" each other's minds by noticing gestures, facial expressions, movement of the eyes, etc. If we can do that, then Satan, who is so brilliant (he's a little older than us!) can probably do it even more effectively. That is different form actual telepathic mind-reading. And the answer to that one is, I don't know. I've been told he can't, but I don't know.

No, but he CAN read lips. And watch your subvocalizations.
That's the reason God gave His People the Gift of Tongues. Satan can't break THAT code.

Yes. Of course, I know you're thinking that I don't know what I'm talking about but the reason that I know is that I, too, can read your mind.

No, but he can tell by our attitudes and habits what we are thinking. Suppose you peek at a sexy picture on the web. He'll pick up on it, recognize the weakness and then start to tempt you. He plays on our weaknesses.

I don't believe that he does....God doesn't allow him to...otherwise we could never out-do him
He can read our body language...however...as everybody can and make decisions from there...he has known us all our lives so he would probably be able to make it out as though he could read our minds
