why would religion remain static? This i ask simply because I believe all things in the natural world reflect divine qualities.

Ticked, I appreciate your comment. I don't believe perfection is something humans will ever understand and since nature continually changes, I do not assume it to be perfect either.

Religion has never been static. Due to mankind's limited comprehension and differing perspectives, religion has and will continue to shift, change, evolve, etc. throughout the years. God, however, is unchanging due to His perfect nature. Thus, if man were capable of adhering to the Word of God, without err, religion too would be unchanging.

no offense, but I don't share in your beliefs. If something has reached full maturity or perfection, why would it need to change?

not everything reflects the Divine. the opaque exists....

You're right. Religion should grow and expand with the individuals, and it should help those same individuals to see their own divine qualities.

Religion isn't static. If it is static then it won't exist.
