"Why does the Pope claim to be the Representative of Christ on Earth....."
A: Because the Bible clearly describes the appointment of the first Pope by Christ Himself, Who granted that Pope and his successors full authority (the keys to the kingdom) and the charism of infallibility (whatsoever he binds upon earth is bound in heaven).
"claiming that he has never sinned..... when in the Bible it says that all have sinned"
A: There is no such claim! Of course the Pope is a sinner, just like the rest of us!
"claiming to intercede between God and us.... when Jesus is the only way to God and we can pray directly to Him"
A: The Pope surely does intercede on behalf of the Church, as all Christians are called to do. When someone intercedes, they ARE praying directly to Jesus! Intercession does not take anything away from Jesus. Rather, it multiplies the prayers being directed to Him!
"and called Father....when in the Bible it says call no man father"
A: Yes it does, and without any source of authoritative biblical interpretation you probably take that statement literally. That is, until you read in the Bible that both Paul and Peter refer to themselves as "father". Incidentally, what do you call your male parent anyway??
"He is esteemed higher than God Himself sometimes.....why????"
A: NO, he is not! That would constitute idolatry, which is absolutely condemned in all its forms by the Catholic Church. The Pope is a humble servant of God and a servant to the Church. One of his official titles is "servant of the servants of God".
You really should get rid of that rubbish you have been reading. It can only pollute your mind, your heart and your soul.

Christ's rep. - This is based on the claim (unsubstantiated IMHO) of an unbroken line of succession from St. Peter.
Never sinned - No pope has ever made any such claim.
Intercession - The intercession of mortals has always been an *indispensible* element of Catholicism. It's most likely an import from pagan polytheism, as the Catholic faith does not go by _sola scriptura_.
Father - Christians do a lot of things forbidden by the Bible. How many of you wear cotton-polyester blends? How many women sing in your choirs?
Higher than God - Absolutely not, unless you know some grossly misinformed Catholics.

The church never claims that the Pope never sins. It never esteems the Pope Higher than God.
True, one can pray directly to God, but the Bible also tells us to pray one for another, and that is intercession.
I haven't researched the "father" thing, but we all have fathers and mothers. Does that mean you never call your male parent father, or Dad? Maybe some day when I'm bored and into looking up Christian myths again, I'll look at that one.

The Pope is the Bishop of Rome which is the seat of St. Peter who was commissioned by Jesus. In this way the Pope is a representative of Christ. The Church does not say that the Pope can not sin. You are thinking about when he makes a special type of decree, only at that time is he infallible. That is done only rarely. We are to pray for each other. So he is doing the same that we all do. He is not esteemed higher than God. Where do you get all of this false teaching? I suggest that you read some of the history of the Roman Church.

>>Why does the Pope (or his followers) claim to be the Representative of Christ on Earth...<<
Jesus left Peter in charge (Matthew 16:17-19 and John 21:15-17).
>>-claiming that he has never sinned<<
That is an outrageous lie, and you are bearing false witness.
>>..... when in the Bible it says that all have sinned<<
Yeah, like you for telling these lies.
>>-claiming to intercede between God and us.... when Jesus is the only way to God and we can pray directly to Him<<
When did the Church say otherwise?
>>-and called Father....when in the Bible it says call no man father<<
We call him father because he is a spiritual father, like St. Paul, who wrote, "For though you have countless guides in Christ, you do not have many fathers. For I became your father in Christ Jesus through the gospel." (1 Corinthians 4:15)
>>He is esteemed higher than God Himself sometimes.....why????<<
More false witness...

I am not a catholic, but I'll clear up your misconceptions anyway:
"-claiming that he has never sinned..... when in the Bible it says that all have sinned"
The catholic church doesn't say the pope has never sinned; it says he is "infallible", which, in that context, means that his teachings are always correct, not that he's never sinned.
"-claiming to intercede between God and us.... when Jesus is the only way to God and we can pray directly to Him"
anybody who prays for anybody 'intercedes' for them. Have you ever prayed for anyone?
"-and called Father....when in the Bible it says call no man father"
In the same line it says to call no man 'teacher'; but I assume you have. I also assume you call the man who contributed half your DNA your "father". If so, you already don't interpret that passage literally, so take the proverbial plank out of your eye!

What in the world are you talking about? What are your sources?
-No Pope has ever claimed that they have not sinned.
-Intercesary prayer can be done whenever you ask anyone to pray for you. The Pope is included.
-The Pope (and Priests) are called father because they are likened to spiritual fathers. Just like the Apostle Paul refering himself as Timothys father in Philippians 2:22.
-No Pope in history claimed to be higher then God Himself.

They're trying to carry on a tradition.
The thing is, it may not work. I firmly believe GOD does not like weasles. You can't say THE POPE said I should do it to God, that will get you in potentially BIG trouble.
