While the entire Word of God is a veritable library of divine wisdom, particularly does the book of Proverbs contain wise sayings for our day that we do well to act upon: “The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge” and “of wisdom.” “The name of Jehovah is a strong tower.” “More than all else that is to be guarded, safeguard your heart.” “Trust in Jehovah with all your heart and do not lean upon your own understanding.” “The generous soul will itself be made fat, and the one freely watering [others] will himself also be freely watered.” “A true witness is delivering souls.”—Prov. 1:7; 9:10; 18:10; 4:23; 3:5; 11:25; 14:25.

the fear of God, which means that awesome awareness of an all-powerful creating being who is infinitely greater than anything we could even understand. that's the beginning of knowing. Once we've started there, we can start learning about a lot of things.

Questioning.
Without a question, one cannot begin to understand.
The Bible claims it is fear of God, but fear tends to prevent questioning, and therefore prevents true knowledge.
If you wish to truly know, then look at the world as a child and question everything.
