Tapeworms and pinworms are both common worms that human, especially children, get. Pin worms actually can be identified by the worms actually being in the poop. They will actually be wiggling aroung and alive. They are quite tiny. You said they looked like seed so tapeworm would be more likely. Proglotids (they egg filled segments) are dropped or sloughed off in the poo. They are visible and often do look like seeds. Tapeworms comes usually from unproperly contaminated beef. Hopefully what you did see is just seeds since cellulose (what seeds are mainly made up of) can not be digested by the human digestice system.

Ring worm???? Dude, that is on the outside! As for worms, tape worms are on the inside, they don't come out. The grapefruit/cucumber thing sounds more like it.
People who live on the street get crap in their crap from being unclean.
I would just tell her parents and make them aware of what you saw. More than likely it is just nothing.

It might be, this may sound gross but this would be a definite way to find out, when its night time and she's sleeping you can look at her bottom and you would be able to see them because they come out and lay eggs around the anus, I know really gross but it's true, that would be a definite way to know, but if you really dont want to do that and I wouldn't you could just tell her mom and they would just do a stool sample at the doctor and all she would have to do is take a pill for it.

It may be parasites. It is easy to get parasite infection if there has been food mishandling or if she had eaten food that is not thoroughly cooked.
I'm not sure if looking up this directory may help

Best is to bring your niece to see a doctor as she is only 3 years old. You should not be buying any parasite cleansing product from over the counter since she is so young.

Her mom won't be alarmed, that's what being mom is about.
Damn, if worms in her poop is the GROSSEST thing she sees, she's doing great.
worms aren't that big of a deal as long as you get rid of them ASAP.
call her tonight and she can get her to the doctor tomorrow.

if she has worms, the type that would be found in stool, then you are likely to see them in her stool again. another sure fire way to find out is to take her to her Dr. worms can be very serious for small children they can dehydrate easily. good luck.

Tell her mother. She will thank you for being alert and telling her. She'll ask you to always tell her about anything that might be a concern about her child.
