See ya in re-education camp. It will be like paradise. We won't have any worries except scrounging a couple hundred calories a day.

Calm down - and stop watching so much garbage on TV - like Faux News.
And - America has many religions other than Christianity - some Americans don't believe...so don't fret about the God thing...
And - this is a nation of immigrants. Except for the indigenous people, every single one came from somewhere else or their ancestors did. So lay off the immigrants.
And - many Americans can't speak the English language or spell or know anything about grammar...so don't bash the "English as a second language" crowd.
Don't be scared. America has survived everything that has been thrown at her for almost 500 years......as soon as the moron in the White House goes back to his spider hole in Crawford, things will settle down again.

It is very obvious as to how we have become what we are today.
Actions and demands of various groups that would have been unthinkable prior to 1954 are presently embraced by our Government. Government is involved in every aspect of our lives.
As usual we are told these actions and demands are for the overall good. Well I am sorry to say I don't and never will see it that way. This country has turned into a moral-less cesspool.
Every aspect of crime and immorality is at an all time high. The beginning of this travesty began by trying to help the poor and down and outers. This would be true regardless of race. Look around and tell me it has been successful. Billions and Billions of dollars have been wasted. The result is not a lot to show for the effort. I have never received free medical care, free college tuition, food stamps, child care, money to go into business etc.
My parents were not rich. So if working is good enough for me, why should anyone else get a free ride? I don't think the world owes me a living. I also think that it owes no one else.
Stand up for this country? How could this possibly be done with no unity? Get out of this country? Well it is a thought. Where would one go? Futhermore if you are going to do it, you better not let the screen door hit you in the rear. The reason is it will not be too much longer that it will be escape, becaause it will not be legal to leave.

Way to go, 44granny. I agree with you, we need to take a stand for our great country. To answer your question about how we've gotten to this point in our country, I would say that we are too worried about offending people. We are too worried to offend illegal aliens to the point they really controlled the government. Now, if they ever feel threatened, they just say 'racism' and get more money from the government. We can fix this problem by returning to our old roots and not caring who we offend. The country would be a better place to live, guaranteed. You know what, it's about time that there is more people like you.

To be honest i think your just talking crazy. This country is melting pot of many religions and different ethnicities so why would we force someone to conform when thats why we fought England. We were being forced to do things that weren't right so why do that to others that help our country flourish into a better place to be. WHY?!?!? Slaves were brought here and forced to do the very things that your saying should be required for citizenship so why would we repeat the same mistake. This country was founded on God so the In God We Trust issue should be dropped nad everyone should just let it be whether they agree with it or not.

I am not a Christian. However, I understand what you are saying. We got to this "point" by way of liberalism, political correctness, and corporate greed. If something is not done to change immigration and citizenship rights, this country will be polarized to the point of a second civil war. If you think it is bad now, in 50 years the invader's population will quadruple, with the middle class paying for it all in more ways than one.

what further this question on? nicely for the reason that from the beginning up of time in family contributors relationships that has in no way befell and that for a short era it became into okay to marry cousins, nonetheless i dont think of which will ever take place ever. There are too many regulations against it and its morally incorrect. Plus the completed undertaking with beginning-defects in the infants born from intermarrying is a huge undertaking that a lot of human beings wont opt for to handle.

I think that's the problem with Americans, (at least most), you're too paranoid. Most people think we come here to make the lives of Americans miserable, to steal your jobs, take over. Well no, we came here to work. We're trying to live and make it just as you are. This country has gotten to many points, it started out with points, segregation?? slavery?? stolen land?? Anything is expected out of here, the only reason people try to come here is because the government isn't corrupt and to take advantage of the opportunities given here, not of the U.S. people.
About the American flag and Mexican flag, I think many people were driven to that point. I don't agree with disrespecting ANY country. I'm proud of being Mexican but I am grateful to the opportunities I've been presented to by the U.S.
About the English, people give people what they want. NOBODY is MAKING people put other languages, but the people that want to sell know it can gain them big points. You know, the reason why many immigrants don't know English is because they don't have time to learn it, they work all day and night and don't have the time to study it.
Don't seem so heartless, I am a Christian, and I do open my heart. Try to see it from other people's points of view too, not just yours. Just try it out.

You took the words right out of my mouth! I'm so tired about the "in God we trust" issue already!!! If people don't like it, too bad! As far as speaking English, I think it MUST BE REQUIRED in order to get U.S. citizenship. I am just saddened as to what our country has become....let's worry about everyone else, and let the Americans suffer! I don't get it! I have actually thought of leaving the States, but the only thing holding me back is my family. Darn!

Think about it; is the Mexican immigration (both legal and illegal) not just the slowest invasion of a country in the history of the world?
This country is too busy catering to the special interests to realize that it is losing touch with its true roots. I'm not saying that white males and females are the only proper route for this country, but I do feel that rather than reaching to bring people up, they should strive to be here.
In other countries, if you do not adhere to their policies, languages, and cultural differences, you are DEPORTED.
We should not change to accommodate those coming here. Rather, they should change to fit in in our country.

Amen. Our current immigration policy is a national disgrace, and its an even bigger disgrace that more people don't give a d*mn. People seem more interested in Anna Nicole Smith. In my opinion the world is becoming more globalized, and it's only a matter of time before all North America joins as one national identity like the EU
