Excellent Question!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
100% in favor of this. Do you try on an outfit and shoes before you commit to buying them? This is the same thing, it allows the both of you to try each on before committing to buying into a new life that will most likely involve children.
My girl friend and I who is know my wife lived together for about 2 years before making a commitment to each other. We learned allot about each others good and bad habits. 17 years later we still have the same habits except for the ones that were resolved during our trial stage.
Some say it is a sin to have sex or live together before marriage, if you listen to that and you get married the proper way then it will also be a sin in the eyes of god when you get a divorse....................HMMMMM.
Go for it before you regret it later, I did.

i think that living with someone before marriage is OK but as long as you are both ready to be grown and take on the responsibility's of bills and not blame all the problems on one person i think it will work out OK if you are both sure that is what you want ... from my point of view i have lived with both my ex's and one left because he couldn't handle the bills and taking care of the house the other left because i was not moving fast enough in the relationship . when i say that i mean i did not get pregnant the first time around so he left me all i am saying is it is OK as long as you both are sure it is what you want like the saying goes you test drive a car before buying it and that is how relationships work test drive it to see if it is what you want and if it is then sign the lease and go on and buy it good luck

I am not so sure I can anymore...it seems like not as committed in the relationship, if just living together, I would be less likely to put up with our differences and doubt marrying this person...when if married...its understood it will be for better or worse and I'd work through difficult times more willingly.

Yes it is... coming from experience.
When you live together there are little tests each one of you do to find out if you will make it in the long run. Example.
My wife and I would test each other and once you figure out when it's just a test or not. and When you can tell the difference than you've struck gold my friend. she will leave garbage sitting by the front door and hit the timer. (You don't know this but you have like a 5 minute window to figure out what's going on and take the garbage out or prepare for a fight that you didn't even see coming) I know your asking yourself WHY would she do that for what REASON. come closer I got a lil secret to share........keep it on low...... THERE IS NO LOGICAL EXPLAINATION FOR WHY WOMEN DO ANYTHING!!!!!!
that's not just a rumor It's science.

No. Everyone that I know said that everything changes after you are married. If you live together before marriage, you are setting yourself (and the other person too) with the false expectation that this is how it will be after marriage.
Statistics suggest that the divorce rate is higher among couples who lived together before marriage, verses those who didn't

Yes, just make sure yo get along well and have the same living styles...for example if the guy is sloppy and the girl is perfectly neat..and theres little fights about it it could lead to bigger ones..

no, i dont think its a good idea. it takes all the fun out of planniing your life together. true, you get to know each others habits, but at the same time its fun to learn each other in a new way. If your young and just looking for a place to crash for a lil while, then it can work, but if your 30 and over, dont waste your time...

I think it is, I would never even consider marrying someone if I had not lived with them and been with them for quite awhile.

Yes, for all the reasons already stated. You must try on a person to see if they match.
