For example:

Man: "Hi"

Woman: "Hi. . ."

Man: "Wow, you have amazing _____"!

Personally, I think its better to talk about something common or very general first, but I'm curious of how many women like the "complement approach".

Thanks.

That's a tough one. If you can pull it off, girls love compliments. But make sure they are tasteful. Commenting on pretty eyes or nice hair or a great smile is nice. DON"T make comments about her body though because then you'll just sound like a sleazeball. If you don't think you can pull of a compliment without sounding corny, just make small talk about something general and see what happens. Hope that helps!

I think that any straight up down to earth female would love for a man to approach her with complete respect. That is the most attractive thing about a man is respect for a lady and wisdom and common sense.

I think it's better not to compliment the women at first. Start off by saying who the hell you are... or what you do for a living... I think it's an appropriate approach.

Personally I dislike the compliment approach... I think it just sounds fake and desperate. I like it to start off slow... general conversation... something to make me laugh. Compliments are best when they come later and are sporatic and sincere.

I really like a general "you look really nice tonight", but getting into anything specific "you have gorgeous hair" or "your eyes are amazing" can get a little corny and insincere. You're right - stick with something a bit more neutral.

Compliment is fine, "you have amazing ____ " is more likely insincere exaggeration and probably not going to be taken very seriously...it sounds like a come-on...however, making a general remark/comment/question is equally, if not more, effective and probably more likely to keep her attention...

I enjoy compliments...as long as they are in good taste and uniue to that person. Such as I like your smile...It brightens up the room. I don't know ....I'm easy..if I'm attracted to him it doesn't really matter what he says. Just as long as it is not perverted or rude.

I think you mean - complimented. Otherwise you are just adding something on.

not something as jazzy as "wow and Amazing"
a quick little "you look beautiful" would do
