My personal approach (that has always worked for Me) is rather simple. No words necessary.
Just approach her/he, Physically, at every situation possible. You can create situations for physical closeness, like dropping something to the floor (beware of head bumps!).
If she steps back, or tells You to back-off, then You have got an answer. A negative one.
If She stays put without moving, that is a another answer. A good one.
And third answer, if she notices You stayed more than one second really close to her, She may even kiss You or let You know She likes Your closeness.
Just please be sure You had a shower and brushed Your teeth that ocassion!!!

they will blush if they're shy
or they wont be able to think clearly when around you
they might stare at you from time to time
or they might just stare and go out of it, because they think you're so wonderful, and thats all they can think about
they talk to you often
they go to any extent to talk to you
they do nice things for you
they treat you better than they do anyone else
they laugh at ALL your jokes, evan the unfunny ones (sometimes)
they always wanna be with you
they love to see you
they're ALWAYS smiling when with you (or often atleast)

Did we revert to kindegarten? ... send them a note by your best friend asking, "Do you like me? check this box for yes...check this box for no"...GET REAL! If you are "real" with that person and they are "real" with you, you don't even have to ask the question. However, many people are so into playing the games...shoot, maybe the note isn't such a bad idea afterall!!!

Youll know if somebody really likes you if the person can hardly talk to you and they get shy and tied tounge when they are around you.

if they flirt, stare, laff with you all the time, try to give you hugs always, always staring into your eyes, and when they smile everytime you see them. thats how you usually know if a guy likes you unless he's immature and he does it the kindergarten way...you know being mean and pulling your hair and hitting you. if he's like that you can forget about him. good luck with that "someone" ; )
