I mean... a bird or something will eat it, and if not it disintegrates in like a day right? Is it considered littering?

Anything you throw out of your vehicle while going down the road, can be called littering. Best thing to tell you, find a trash can, or if you place an order, ask for no pickles, no onions. It's better then getting something you don't want on your food, plus it's cheaper then a ticket for littering!

It is considered litter! Even if it deteriorates in a week. Not too many birds will eat pickles or onions. More likely a skunk or possum.

Getting fined would depend on the officer.

sure you can be fined if you're caught throwing it out!!! it's considered littering... and pickles and onions don't disintegrate so fast... plus i don't think birds will risk being killed by passing cars just to eat pickles and onions... come to think of it i haven't heard of birds eating pickles nor onions!!!

That is considered littering, so if you get caught, you may be fined. I agree with you, though, a bird or a rat or something will eat it.

I would fine you for throwing away perfectly good pickles, but never for throwing out of the car disgusting stinky smelly onions. (you are only doing yourself and everyone else a favor)

i'm an ex smoker and that i shamefully admit I from time to time did this. the reason being that cigarette butts make the motor vehicle scent like an ashtray. I justified it by utilising asserting that a butt is made up of paper and cotton, so will biodegrade in time (i be responsive to, that isn't a stable excuse). I stay in eire the place it rains each and all of the time so no hearth hazards.

Imagine if everyone threw decomposable trash out the window. There would be apple cores, fruit husks, orange peels, banana peels all over the place.

And if we could throw out decomposable fruits and veggies, then why not decomposable meat products?
