Not just different races, but just going from person to person in general and depending on the genes.

Yes, it is true. If you look under a microscope each race has a different shape to their hair. Actually, Asians have oval hair. Whites have round, Blacks have round too but generally bigger in diameter.
Asian hair is the hardest to color because most hair color molecules are round (they can't make them oval...it is the actual color that has the shape) and so it is like putting a round peg into an oval opening. It is a squeeze.
African American hair that is virgin can also be hard to color accurately because the first layer is fiercely thick and hard for the color molecule to penetrate.
Interesting huh?

As far as I know this is true. In general everyone no matter what race has their own hair type based on genetics, For instance, I am mixed (black and white) but, since black is more dominant race wise, I have to treat my hair like "black hair". I have to use special shampoos and conditioners and i have to comb it and brush it differently too. I hope this helps!

there are many different kinds of hair ,it is a genetic thing
races tend to be grouped together with particular types of hair but not always there are exceptions
but ****** tend to have specific kind of hair ,so do Aryans ,Indians ,Central Americans Papuas and so on
the most confusing race is the whites because they can have all kinds of hair ,
because their grandfathers got around i guess

for the most part. oval cuticles are the cause of straight hair, and you might notice that a lot of asians have straight hair that is hard to get to stay up or curl. african american hair is usually coarse and takes about a zillion different mousses and creams to get it to do anything

sometimes. like indian people--they usually have thick, somewhat wavy hair. Chinese/Japanese people usually have thin straight hair. Most Africans have frizzy or curly hair. White usually have straight or curly hair (almost anything) and Hispanic people have wavy hair. These characteristics are not true for everyone. Any race can have almost every hair type.

everyone could theoretically have different hair types.. people of carribbean descent are more likely to have Afro hair assumedly because of the excessive sun it gets, but all people can have different types of hair. you could have dry hair one day and greasy the next, espescially if you're feeling down or stressed (which can lead to hair loss) mood can affect hair type also. hope this helps!

Yeah thats pretty true. I'm black and my hair is really nappy. It may sound gross or weird, but while most people have to wash their everyday, I only have to wash it on every saturday. Plus, if my hair is strait to long, it begins to flake and might even break off.

Yes, I guess you can say that. But I think it depends on the person and not all on their race.
