i need some advice on how to edit a movie and what to do it with?

i have windows movie maker but when i load the video from my camer it waont accept it and i was wanting to purchase a movie edit program, where can i get that?

I've used Pinnacle studio for the past several years and its worked great .Mine is studio 9 but I believe there up to 10.It basically has three steps.Put your video into the computer,edit,and burn it to DvD.Make sure you have a DvD burner in your computer.They have a very good support and answer all questions that you have.Make sure when you get the program you get the operating manual with it.Its about a 100 dollar program.Good luck with your video projects.
