No, and I'll tell you why.
I couldn't even begin to hazard a guess at the number of "straight" people who secretly have homosexual experiences, regardless of whether they are married, have children, or attend church. Even if same-sex marriage was legalized, there would still be a social stigma attached to being gay. For some people, to be openly homosexual would result in negative feelings from others in their family, at their job, or in the community in general. This, however, does not stop them from indulging in their homosexual fantasies ... it only stops them from doing it openly. This stigma wouldn't change just because the laws do. Look at inter-racial marriage -- at a point in time, it wasn't allowed by many states. Now, its pretty legal everywhere, but that doesn't change some people's opinions that it is wrong.
Also, I don't think that a person can determine their own sexual orientation. For example, I'm a straight girl. I'll be open enough to admit I have "experimented", but since I'm straight, it wasn't for me. Just because the laws change regarding homosexual marriage doesn't mean that people will change, deep down inside. You are who you are, and its impossible for anyone to change that, including the government.
Third of all, I don't believe in the idea of hell as a place of eternal torture ... but I'm not going to take up any more room to explain that. If you wanna know my opinions about that, email me.

Legalizing gay marriage isn't going to make more people become homosexual, and thus go to hell (as most judgemental biggots believe) I don't believe being gay is a sin, and I also don't believe in hell.

Only if by hell you mean in a crappy marriage.
Here's the thing that you fire and brimstone hypocrites tend to conveniently overlook. There are homosexuals who are going to heaven and heterosexuals (maybe even in your own church) who are going to hell. God respects no man. To him all sin is equal and it exists in EVERYONE's life (even yours my small minded friend). Your sin and mine is no more acceptable to God just because we're hetero.
It is not for you, me or anyone else to look into the heart of another and know whether or not he or she is saved. I strongly suggest that you get over yourself. Deal with the plank in your own eye and quit getting bent out of shape about the splinter in your brother's. No one escapes final judgment. On that day Jesus alone (not sexual orientation) will define our final destination. I pray that you have joined me and some of my dear homosexual brothers and sisters in making the necessary provisions.
Ps. Love the Christian, hate the selectively applied christianity!

No, I don't think people will become homosexual just so they can get married. I think the sin is already deeply rooted by the time they get around to thinking about getting married.

Not sure. The number of people going to hell is terribly large in contrast to the "narrow way" few going to Heaven. Whats a few more sodomites?

No...I don't think homosexual marriage has anything to do with people going to hell. Just let people live their lives and be happy...I'm sure we all want that. Maybe some people don't like it or agree with it, but they don't have to do if they don't want to.

No, because the people who got married would have already been homosexuals to begin with. Doh!

God does not like the practice of homosexuality. He loves the sinner but not the sin. People who are gay will go to hell because it is going against God's Word. It may sound harsh but it takes more than being a nice person to get into heaven.

I think that even if it were legal, it would be putting the souls of those involved in risk of not obtaining exaltation, but the lord gives us agency to choose, just choose what you think is the best way.
