I believe in God because of the great things he's done in my life,
before I was a christian, I was lost, I didn't know where I was going in life, committing every just about every sin your can thing of expect murder, I decided to turn my life around and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, and the meaning of life is so much clear to me now, I am put on this Earth to do God's Will.

When I look at the complexity of the human body, the preciseness of our universe (the sun & planets), the circle of life (to borrow from Disney), and especially DNA, it defies logic to think that this all came about randomly. Therefore, it had to come about through intelligent design -- there has to be a Creator.
The Apostle Paul said essentially the same thing in Romans 1:20 "...for the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse ..."
After figuring out that the only logical explanation for our existence is God, I next found that the only reasonable communication from God is the Bible. There is no other book like it.
So to sum up ... the world around us tells us there IS a Creator. The Bible tells us ABOUT our Creator and His expectations for us.
Hope this helps.
Think about it -- figure it out.

as a former atheist years ago..... i knew something was missing in my life... then when I drove by a church... any church Would cry for no reason..... at 16 i went to Church and KNEW that was what was missing ( dated a preachers son) I have been a believer ever since. I have had felt God and heard Him clearly at times give me advice or mostly to comfort me. Praying for comfort them all of a sudden I got this feeling that I needed no comfort because I was feeling so great was a miracle to me... All of these led me to the path of God, felling Him work in me has kept me here. My life is NOT perfect, but better with God

You and me believe in God in respond to the society in what we are living. I born in a Catholic country, that's the main reason to be a catholic. If I were born in India or China I'm sure the story will be very different.

for me, it just seems more likely. its perfectly reasonable to believe that the universe just happened, and that used to be my firm belief, but eventually i started reading philosophy and being more pensive and came to the conclusion that probably some creative force exists.

I believe in god not just because it is the right thing to do but because in all that is right, that is the right thing to do. walk beside him and believe in him. Because when the day comes he is the one to judge me.
