Make it a point to have him see you smile while looking at him. Men enjoy a smiling face. If anything happens in class take the opportunity to mention it to him.

If you are really shy why not try adding him on Myspace or something? Sometimes it's the best Ice breaker and you may begin to feel more comfortable talking to him and it will lead to conversation in real life. It's just a thought!

You have to talk to someone to become friends with them...Either walk up to this person and start talking or find a person you both have in common to join in.Somehow you have to break the ice...Good Luck
