I WORKED HARD AT THE GYM AND GOT A SIX PACK WHICH IS STARTING TO SHOW. I ALSO WORKED ON MY SIDE PACK SO MY FRONT LOOKS GOOD. problem is my abs look like they are bloated. while all the otehr guys in school have abs that are just flat. simple flat.mine is kinda bloated. i dont think it is becuase of fat because i reduced my body fat alot and tehre isint much. when i flex ppl usually get impressed but its when i let go.it kinda looks like a baloon. kinda like tehre is either too much water or air in my stomach pushing out my abs. like right now i just ate and my abs arent flat. in the morning it is flat but lunch time after eating it gets bloated but the other guys have it flat. is that normal? or the other guys are tucking it in aswell but it doesnt look like it really. is there soemthing wrong with me? its hard to explain. when i flex tummy gets tucked and abs show perfectly the moment i let it go it turns into baloon what do i do kinda liek something frominside any personal trainer?

im 15 by the way its sad i think its only me cause every guy on the rugby team topless has flat washboard abs mine u cant see it until i flex and i dont even have that much body fat i think is below 10%

cut your salt intake down, high sodium foods holds water in , and also cut your sugar intake in half, you problem is, is that your body type is carb sensitive and shows on the outside when you eat high sugar foods and high sodium will support this.

Hmm. First thing I have to ask would be your height and weight. I have a friend who is rather on the short side, just over 5ft. He has been an athlete for a long time and his abs are pretty much how you described yours. That is because he is rather small and the moment he eats his stomach gets pretty bloated.

It's nothing weird, but different people will have different abs. I have a 6 pec but when I eat I can get bloated too and it shows. That's due to the fact that I am naturally thin but have a humungous appetite. I'm 5ft6 (1.7m) and 52kg.

Another reason for having abs that stick out could be that you do not stretch after working them out. So your muscle are bunched up. Try to do a cat stretch after each set.

im exactly like you! i have good abs, and they show pretty well when i flex!! but when i'm not flexing or right after eating, i mean you can still see the outline of them, you just can't like definition. it is totally normal, and you probly look rely good compared to other people! also, one other thing i know about. im working on my biceps, and i can not tell they're getting bigger. but when i was playing basketball, my teammates saw how big my muscles have gotten. when something is growing (muscles) but you see them everyday, they do not seem to be getting bigger. dont worry about it!
