Nowhere does Scripture explicitly state that animals do not have souls...There is nothing in Scripture I know of that would preclude the possibility of animals' continued existence...The Bible does give us some reason to hope that departed animals will be restored. We read in the Bible that redemption is a cosmic matter. The whole creation is destined to be redeemed through the work of Christ (Romans 8:21), and we see the images of what heaven will be like; beautiful passages of Scripture tell us about the lion and lamb and other animals being at peace with one another.(Isaiah 11:6-8). Whenever heaven is described, though it may be in highly imaginative language, it is a place where animals seem to be present. Whether these are animals newly created for the new heavens and the new earth, or they are the redeemed souls of our pets that have perished, we can't know for sure.

No, Pets are not in heaven. Leviticus 24:18 shows us that domestic animals do have a soul. Ezekiel 18:4 tells us that all souls belong to the father, the soul itself is sinning and it itself will die. At Ecclesiastes 9:5 it shows the condition of the dead, and that they are conscious of nothing at all. The soul does not continue living after death in an immortal way like an after-life.

Our only hope is the resurrection, we hope that we are in God's "book", or his memorial tomb (memory), but nowhere does the Bible say that He (God) resurrects animals. Isaiah 65: 21-25 tells us some of the conditions that the resurrected ones will enjoy here on Earth. Psalms 37:11 tell us that the meek will inherit the Earth and then Psalms 37:29 even says that "The righteous themselves will possess the Earth and will reside FOREVER upon it". Back at Isaiah 45:18, it says "For this is what Jehovah has said, the Creator of the heavens, He the true God, the Former of the earth and the Maker of it, He the One who firmly established it, who did not create it simply for nothing, who formed it even to be inhabited, I am Jehovah and there is no one else."

That pretty much says it in a nutshell, the Earth is not going to be destroyed, it WILL be inhabited by people, forever, under God's rulership. Heaven is the place of his kingdom. Only Jehovah, Jesus, the Angels, and the Anointed Class have the priviledge of residing in Heaven, the rest of us will inherit the Earth or be left in the ground. Genesis 3:19 says "In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken, for dust you are, and to dust you will return". There is no scary "hell", Hell is mankind's common grave.

We can't be sure, but the the Bible says that the Saints of will return with the Lord Jesus Christ on "white horses" (Revelation 19:14). I can't find the verse at the moment, but I recollect reading somewhere in the Bible ( I think it was Ecclesiastes) that the soul of an animal goes into the ground (ie. not to heaven). So what can we say? My theory is this: I believe that there will be animals in heaven, but these have no part in any resurrection. I think they will be recreated. I have a Boston Terrier puppy that I love dearly. His name is Puppiboi. When he dies I think that will be the end of Puppiboi =-( But when I get to Heaven I think God will recreate Puppiboi ! =-) And we will all live happily ever after.

I hope so.

But some people who like to rain on our parade say they are not capable of sin, therefore not capable of salvation by entering the gates of God.

Some say there are nine spheres or levels in heaven. A soul that has reached Heaven stops at the level applicable to it. Souls are allotted to the point of heaven that fits with their human ability to love God. Basically it's a heavenly hierarchy. All experience God but there is a hierarchy in the sense that some souls are more spiritually developed than others.

I don't know where I'm going with this, but if your pets being with you makes you happy, then it is said they will be there to greet you.

Of course they do. When I was little, I was devastated when my Sunday School teacher told me that pets don't go to heaven. Then I went home, and my mom assured me that if I wanted pets in heaven, they'd be there. How can it be the best place ever without pets?! Oh, in response to what someone said about animals being very lustful creatures, that is completely untrue. Humans and dolphins are the only creatures who have sex for pleasure, all other animals do it simply because of their natural instinct to reproduce, so I'm going to have to disagree that animals are lustful creatures because they have sex a lot.

Either they go to Heaven or I want to go where they do. (Somebodies famous quote, can't remember who?)heres another good one--""You think dogs will not be in heaven?
I tell you, they will be there long before any of us."
Robert Louis Stevenson".Also--The Bible does mention it--And the lion shall lay down with the lamb :)Isaiah 11:6Heres a little more on Heaven--
The bible tells us that the lion will lay down with the lamb in heaven. It is the ultimate image of Peace. I would like to say that is what we all want, but obviously that would be wrong. But I wish you Peace. The Peace that only comes through knowing Jesus Christ. The time is short. Please make the most of it...

*The actual quote is: Isaiah 11:6 "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, The leopard shall lie down with the young goat, The calf and the young lion and the fatling together; And a little child shall lead them.

Of course, animals have souls - that's obvious to anyone who's ever loved one. Even if they didn't, you would still find them in Heaven, along with all good things you've treasured in your heart. The God of Heaven is not going to refuse anyone their pets - He is able to restore them to eternal life just as well as His people.

YES All living things have a soul, mans soul is convertible we can accept to sin or not, animals cannot sin.they cant reason sin.A sin is a offence against god and man.A animal does not know he sinned,WE DO......Our saving grace is we can ask for forgiveness. The worst thing we do is to take our sins with us when we die, thats what keeps us out of heaven, and lets our pets in.....

If heaven is supposed to be our reward, then I think God allows our pets to be there, waiting for us when we arrive.

Yadda yadda yadda about animals not being able to accept Jesus. Infants don't have that ability either, but I'm thinking God still lets them in. I think people who believe they AREN'T in heaven, never had a pet they loved...and could never see the soul inside an animal who loved them in return.

Just remember. When the bible was written, animals weren't used for companionship. They were used for food or to do a job. Pets weren't a consideration to the people who wrote the bible. It was written about the salvation of mankind. That doesn't mean animals DON'T go to heaven. It just means that the bible didn't mention it. The bible doesn't mention volcanoes either, but they exist.
