He licks my feet, he licks the blanket, he licks almost contantly.

my dog does that too, they say if dog likes to lick your feet constantly it means they like you or i think its a way for them to kiss you, i don't about the blanket though..

I have been told it is because dogs that consistently lick have low self esteem and are always saying there sorry although they haven't done anything wrong. My 6 yr. old black lab has always had this problem. I used to try to get her to stop but after being told about the low self esteem thing I let her do it as she wanted. She doesn't do it as much anymore.But I reassure her and give her lots of love so she doesn't feel bad.Its sad to think that your dog could have low self esteem isnt it?

My dog does that sometimes. Sometimes they just feel like licking, I think they get a bad taste in thier mouth, that or they're just happy. Call your vet to make sure 100%.

My dog does this and he is 3. It gets on my nerves so bad. I think dogs just like to lick.

that is what puppys do when they are young.. my puppy did it and it gets better when they are older about a year.
