To do this: cl Start, cl Settings, cl Taskbar and Start Menu.
- cl Start Menu, cl Customize, cl Remove.
- cl the icon for the program you wish to remove
- then cl Remove.
- This will prevent the program from loading at startup, but will not remove the program from the hard disk.

well the program file you need to edit by using the run program is msconfig.bat. But I have started using a program called wintasks that wil tell you which programs will start, give you an explanation and allow you to disable or enable. It also shows the programs running on your computer and which program is slowing down your computer. Give this program a try.

Hello Dear
there are some ways to manage your start up program:
In command line (RUN) type msconfig and press enter a window will be open go to start up tab then end process the programs you dont want it .
OR install a soft ware to do that automatically like Tune up utility 2006 or system mechanic 6
Good luck
