We agreed I got off work and would call at 5 pm to do something before he had to leave for work. I totally blew off my plans to get a new pair of tennis shoes, and to arrange for a new cell phone at the store and headed home, so I would not be late.
He sleeps all day, and works all nite, so I didnt call, because I didnt want to wake him up. I showered, brushed my teeth and headed the 4 block walk to his house with a wet head because I did not want to be late. When I arrived his car was gone, he was gone and I was standing in his house alone feeling like an idiot.
I called him on his cell phone and he decided to have dinner with his sons family before he left for work.
He goes on to explain I have some issues I have to work on. I just think he could have told me that before I took off across town on foot. My cell phone was in my pocket all day. I did not mis understand our discussion early this am.
What would you say or do?

well sometimes we go through things and we have to deal with them on our own. i understand what he did was it right? probably not but it will be ok

He really has no regard for you. He just decided to do something better than meeting you and didn't even bother to call. Sounds like a jerk to me. Unless it was a total misunderstanding and things were not clear. I would definitely talk to him about this. This incident would make me a bit weary and next time I would definitely call him before meeting him.
