One way is by making people think they're following the right religion. Satan doesn't care which religion you choose as long as it isn't the right one. According to the scriptures, there is only one.

You see Satan is the Angel of Light, Satan was the Morning Star, he betrayed god and took 1/3 of the angels from heaven with him to go against god because he did not want Man to rule over him. God gave the earth to man and made the angels help man because people have free will. Satan challanged god but was not sucessful now his existence is to hurt man. But before he was known as Satan he was known as the most beautiful angel in heaven and very vain. Hey Optimus the bible never said that muslims were the anti christ, lol there were no muslims then, mohhamad did not die until years after jesus death and the koran was not written until 200 yrs after his death.

Get this, S-tan is a angel just like any other, with a purpose. His purpose is to induce people to sin. By resisting him a person will get reward for acknowledging G-d every bit more. If he overpowers man own basic instincts he will earn himself the World to come. S-tan is in this world in order to facilitate this test for people. By the time G-d will send the real Jewish Messiah he will take away this test because everything will be clear as the light of day. So no choice anymore, everybody will acknowledge the supremacy of G-d. So at that time there is no need anymore for the S-tan doing his current job. That is when he will join all the other angels in their song of praise for the Holy One blessed is He.

Satan was the worship leader in heaven and he was beautiful but he got prideful and becuase of his pride he was thrown down from heaven along with a fourth of the angels. Satan is a master of disguises and the father of lies. He is probably very good at transforming into an angel of light because thats what he was at the beginning.

Satan transformed into an 'angel' and deceived the muslims to use them to kill Jews and Christians by falsely accusing them of being anti-God. Yet the bible speaks very clearly and identifies the muslims as the anti-christ.
