No I am from Yorkshire and there are around four different Yorkshire accents but none sound vaguely anything like a Liverpool accent.

Believe me, if you came to England and asked a Scouser (from Liverpool) if he had a Yorkshire accent, he would be HIGHLY offended!

The Yorkshire accent is fairly distinct as is the Liverpool one. It's like a Queens accent compared to a Chicago one. (Iguess, I'm English so what do I know :~} )

no no no no no!!

I am from london and out accent is like neither yorkshire or liverpool accents, I can tell them a mile off.

I always think of liverpoolians making the oh sound like ooooooh and the yourshire people just sound sweet and cuddly and not as shouty as the liverpoo people-

I mean no offence by rhiat btw, I have both liverpoolian and yorkshire friends!

No. I think the people of yorkshire would be pretty offended too! Maybe you should talk to a scouser and compare the accents.

Well, to me it does. All Scottish accents ars really hard to understand and confuse me.

My relatives are all from Scotland. I went to visit them last summer, and I could not understand a word they said.

Yeah.. A little off subject.
