blokes' advice please. how do i show him i'm not a total b*tch?

there's these 2 guys from work. one's a player who i slept with once that was meant to mean nothing but i managed to feel like it did afterwards and then he messed me around.
then there's the nice one who basically took the piss when i slept with the other one but it turns out he was trying to warn me off cuz he knew i'd get hurt (his words)
so i like the nice one (doiiiing :p) but i'm not planning on going for it til i get over the other one. meantime, i wanna get to know him better (the nice one).
i did this shift last week with both these guys and i was being a total b*tch to the player but i was a bit mean to the nice one too. txt him, said sorry, he said 'don't worry about it, flower'. thing is i've f*cked things up recently, like kicking the nice guy cuz i was angry & cheating on my ex (who i dumped on new years eve) with the player.
i need to let this guy know that i'm not just out to mess people about. i'm not. i like him. how do i show him i'm actually a caring person?

yeah, i know - office romances... but i don't work in an office :p

Talk to him in a sane way.

Example: "Hey, I want you to know that what I'm feeling right now is X, Y, and Z. ... Thanks for listening. By the way, how often would you like to be updated with status reports?"

About all you can do for him right now is keep the lines of communications open, and resolve some of the doubts and concerns he might be having. So do those two things for him.

Well I am not a guy but I can try to give you advice anyway...It's yours to take if you want it.

I think the best thing you should do is ask the nice guy out for a night on the town. Not a date..make it very clear it isn't a date in a nice way..Or try to get the nice guy off to the side to talk to him. Tell him that you have messed up in the past and that you hope he can look past all of that.

Tell him you would like to get to know him better because you were hurt in your past relationships and that you want to take things slowly..not because of him but because of you. Just tell him all the things that you feel and he should understand if he is really interested in you.
