Start studying. Study Hard, Study Long. Then do everything you can to avoid the ministry. If you are meant to be there all other life paths will close and you will be pulled in... Jim

Perhape you should ask yourself-why do you want to become a religious leader before you ask how can you become a religious leader?
To preach the teaching....To spread the truth...
to help others to alliviate their suffering...?

You are already a leader of your religion.
The religion of the One True God only teaches the believers how to become servants. I am believer for 50 years, and I still remain as an unknown servant.

It depends if you want to be a leader or a pusher. If you really want to be a leader, all you have to do is walk the right way, and some people will follow you willingly.

You don't give enough information. Most ministers enroll in a university and major in theology. You don't say what your religion is, however. Most people are called to do God's work--they don't make it sound like a career choice. Do you want to start a cult or something?
