it has been recently brought to my attention that not all insurance companies offer a discount for taking drivers ed. i was wondering if any of you can name me some of the insurance companies that DON'T offer a discount for completing a drivers ed course.

I work for State Farm and we do not have a "driver's ed" discount. We have a program called Steer Clear which involves logging some information about driving trips after you drive. Once you've completed the required number of trips, you are eligible for a discount as long as you remain ticket and at fault accident free. It's above and beyond driver's ed.
